MIXED REALITY GAMING
VISA
FIFA WORLD CUP.
STRATEGY
As part of Visa's flagship sponsorship activation program during the 2018 World Cup in Russia, ShirazCreative developed a mixed reality game called "Shooting for The Stars" utilizing the latest advancements of 3D body scanning and kinetic tracking technology. Over 3000 guests were 3D-scanned and personally coached by Zlatan Imbrahimovic through Microsoft Hololens glasses. Guests kicked a virtual soccer ball while feeling vibrations created by a custom-built vibrating floor. Our kinetic tracking software accurately measured velocity and kicking precision. For an added layer of engagement, an avatar of the guest was simultaneously projected onto an LED wall and would re-project an Augmented Reality into Virtual Reality for the audience.
