MIXED REALITY GAMING

STRATEGY

As part of Visa's flagship sponsorship activation program during the 2018 World Cup in Russia, Shiraz Creativedeveloped a mixed reality game called "Shooting for The Stars," which utilized the latest advancements in 3D body scanning and kinetic tracking technology. More than 3,000 guests were 3D-scanned and personally coached by top Swedish footballer Zlatan Ibrahimović through Microsoft HoloLens glasses. Guests kicked a virtual soccer ball while feeling vibrations created by a custom-built vibrating floor while kinetic tracking software accurately measured velocity and kicking precision. For an added layer of engagement, an avatar of the guest was simultaneously projected onto an LED wall and would re-project an Augmented Reality into Virtual Reality for the audience.
